Murmur:
I spilled my milk tea today by accident. The worse is that I spilled on my laptop, so part of the keyboard is hard to type now.

The speaking text comes to me again. It makes me nervous, but, on the other hand, I have a lovely group member who is very kind. I'm really enjoying the discussion with her every time.

Alright, if you can manage it, try not be too anxious for now and leave your laptop alone for a while. Wipe all the spilled liquid on the surfaces and wait for the interior to dry out.
In the meantime, power off your laptop and avoid using it for around at least 12 hours, and try your best to complete tasks using alternatives.

Did you mean speaking “test”? I had a hard time on it too. My English usage seems to be good during casual chatting, but surely not in terms of academic discussion.
Therefore, I’m really grateful for having an extra chance of getting in touch with English here. By the way, I hope that I’m not too annoying to you.

malingtsu: It's better now, but what I spilled was a drink, I could feel part of them still sticky inside while typing.
Yeah XD I completed the test. The professor also gave a positive comment to us, but there was still one thing she was dissatisfied about. Not annoying, It's good to communicate with others.

SylviaBright: I see, hope that your laptop functions normally as time goes on. If you feel it necessary taking it to the service center, just do it before it’s too late.
Glad to hear such a good piece of news! Do you mind if you share some details about your professor’s dissatisfaction?

malingtsu: I will do it maybe during the summer vacation because there're still a lot of reports that need to hand in, I can't live without my laptop now.

malingtsu: Sure! She considered my partner and I could do better without a note card. We spoke fluently but looking the card too frequently. Because of the short preparation times, she allowed us to bring it this time, but it won't happen again.

SylviaBright: I see. She was right, looking at cue cards too frequently would harm your image as a speaker to some extent. It's hard, really, really hard, but much better to memorize those key words and conduct a natural speech as an alternative.
