This was well-written and sums up beautifully what I've tried to tell everyone who says it would be "easy" to keep the Fairelands up all year, etc. Not to mention starting fresh every year gives rise to new and different worlds to look forward to.

i do wish the faire could be open longer every year- it has some of the most beautiful and inventive builds in SL, each time, and it's always sad to see them go, wish you'd hade more time to visit them, want to take new (and returning noobs) there to show them what SL can do. but the transitory nature is indeed one of the things that make it as magnificent
