also tangentially it is simultaneously very funny and very embarrassing every time I tell someone at Ada that my name is Ada

Even worse is that apparently my reputation precedes me and there are several alumni who know who I am despite us never meeting

i keep wanting to be like I PROMISE I DIDNT CHANGE MY NAME TO THIS JUST SO I COULD GET INTO THIS PROGRAM IVE BEEN GOING BY ADA FOR YEARS AAAAAA

which is probably not a thing anyone thinks but I still feel the need to be like OKAY BUT WAIT

ANYWAY that aside I’ve gotten most of my Big Project Roadblocks out of the way (even came up with some extra functionality that I’m a little bit proud of) I’ve only got two waves left and looking at them they’re prolly gonna go super fast

You’re supposed to make carbonara with guanciale but I can’t find guanciale for shit and last time I used pancetta but that’s also pricey so I’m just gonna use bacon this time around
