There are no sane people who own these Independent Living Facilities. They are not even facilities and are not regulated at all. They are just houses owned by private individuals who rent rooms to people like me, and most of us are disabled.
These people think they can do anything they want and can get away with anything to. It is starting to look like they actually can do that, including breaking the law. The (VERBAL) reason I was given for the 30-Day notice is because I brought my dog here. There is NO reason included on the notice and it was not even signed.
I have been trying to get in contact with Legal Aid but have not had any luck so far. I do have the phone number of one of the owners that I can give to Legal Aid. I really do not want to fight with people any more because it always ends up with me losing.
