It took a while but finally got hit with the beer virus. So far the dude is fine and dad is staying away. I'm doing a lot better today.

Watch for the fake wellness hump some people are seeing, where it seems to be better and then waits till you think you're ok before jumping you.
msbatty: Oh its one of those sneaky bastards. Yeah I had a moment when the fever broke and I assumed that I was over the hump... except the fever came back. 
my sister had brought me fresh squeezed veggie juice and made food that the dude can cook/reheat on his own. It's been such a big help.
