Got my bivalent (alpha+omicron) booster today, so we’ll see how that goes… So far reactions to the shots have been variable, mostly sleepiness. Pfizer here, if you’re keeping score.

i was trying to decide if I should get the booster now or wait another few weeks to maximize coverage during the inside months. Hope you have fewer reactions

I figured Saturday would be a good day to get some extra sleep, if required

I got my 2nd booster 7/22 so I figured I'd need to wait. Just checked though and I can get it now.

I got mine on Wednesday, coy! only arm pain but not a heavy dead arm like Moderna felt lol... swollen armpit is the only side effect that remains 4 days later

I didn't even know there was such a booster. Did some looking and as I suspected, France is still only offering regular boosters for those who haven't had a second, which I had in Feb. Of course, I had covid after that. lol

Give France about six months, then, to see if it was effective in the US or not. (kidding but not really)

MaudelineKranfel: the UK approved one before the US, it's a different formula but it also includes omicron, maybe you'll get that one!

misscat: interesting! I've noticed that no one talks about vaccines here now (including the gov't) now that we're no longer required to have extra boosters for travel etc.
