i have a feeling that this info sharing event is going to be skulduggery leaving a long list of information on a desk and everyone just takes turn punching him in the face

but it'll be good for all of the characters to finally be on the same page about the captain, about their situation, about the ability to return home & to go other places

skulduggery's main goal will be to convince people to stop "fighting" the captain and start fighting the captain
in this case "fighting" is very literal and fighting means teaching a valuable lesson about teamwork and companionship

while he won't be explicitly stating the captain's identity (to avoid people getting any Ideas), he'll emphasize the anti-human sentiment and the whole "being taken from a village to be used as a tool" bit. he knows the other passengers pretty well and is fairly confident that will engender sympathy

also will own up to p much anything people ask him, although again he may avoid details in order to prevent people from getting The Wrong Idea

the snack spread will be 1 bag of chips from the sundries shop and like. 10 bottles of various liquor. he knows people like those things

the idea in general is that there will be a desk full of paper for people to leave their own ic info on
but that's really just to make it convenient ooc'ly, when we need to remember what our characters know it's as simple as pulling up one thread as opposed to a billion sub-threads

the majority of the info-sharing will come from characters basically discussing the possible ramifications of said info

so while arthur might not be able to read the notes all he'd have to do is go "so what the fuck is happening" and like. i imagine at least 10 characters will reply with tl;dr for him lmfao

(my primary goal is to make this a useful ooc resource for the next couple months until everything changes again lol)

tbh I can't tell if knowing (some of) the captain's background will make Pal more sympathetic, or if he'll just be like, 'i don't care about this asshole's sob story.' Very likely a little bit of both.

skulduggery is a good egg, i'm happy bc i'm fond of all our npcs... hiyori isn't fond of what's going on but he's a love not a fighter, also the captain and friday kinda charming, so he can sign onto diplomacy like ppl who suffered severe trauma do kinda be acting out and going @ them do tend to make it worse.
