And that went pretty much just as it did in the movie except she seems to need to adjust her posture as she goes, as if the bottom half of her body is getting ahead of the top half.

That makes sense in terms of inertia; I understand the film scene was shot with the passageway rotating under the flight attendant, so she was always more or less upright
