My younger daughter just recently (a) quit her job at LinkedIn, (B-) emptied out her NYC apt, (c) packed up her boyfriend and cat, and (d) moved to Denmark.

Oh yes, English is pervasive there, apparently - as she’d assured the bf. Then the first two people they interacted with upon arrival spoke/ understood ZERO English… that raised his eyebrows a bit (LOL)
