ive literally never experienced either

my blood/urine/everything came back testing as...about as perfect as you can ask for

the doc put it down as nonspecific syncope and said im likely dehydrated from a stomach bug ive had this week, and while my electrolytes look great, i still need more fluids

they gave me a round of fluids and some ativan and sent me home because nothing repeated and once i calmed down (i was very afraid in the ambulance i was having a heart attack, the crew immediately tested my heart and said i absolutely wasnt and helped me calm down)

and just, everything looks good

we have a list of symptoms to look out for/get me to sit/lay down if it hits and if i still fall over again, call another ambulance

hopefully just that. I passed out when I tried doing too much while I was sick in high school

all my bipolar meds i take are anti seizure meds so im just like, hoping that helped it not be that if it was going to be one (1200mg gabapentin supplemented with lamictal)

im mostly just tired now

once i got to the er i made sure i could still read japanese, started thinking about like, song lyrics i like, remembering how savage raids work in ff14, going back on what i learned playing card games today, it's all there so there's no like, memory/brain damage

If you're dehydrated, it could've been a bad drop in blood pressure.

If so, there shouldn't be anything lasting, but definitely do hydrate and try to take it easy. If you feel your head go fuzzy or your vision starts to go white or black at the edges, sit or lay down.

If you feel low blood pressure symptoms, caffeine can help that.

When mine drops, I usually grab a coffee or a soda for a quick assist.

i am on propranolol for migraines so i should probably be careful with it for a bit
