New contractor found evidence of damage in the office and second bathroom. so repairs have expanded to include these two rooms. Which has lead to supplemental negations between the contractor and insurance as to what will and will not be covered.

So far the bathroom walls have been rebuilt, and the lower cabinets in the kitchen have been placed. Wood paneling has been removed from the kitchen and drywall put up and patched. But nothing has been done flooring wise.

Basically I've been told I'll be in the hotel through at least Thanksgiving; though luckily I'll be visiting family the week of so it doesn't really matter. But my contractor is hopeful that insurance will cave and I'll be back in my house with everything done by December.
