xiaopop: Nikke. Mostly because I wanted to see why people were comparing it to an idle game.

Ghost_Autonomy: it's idle-able because the auto is pretty much passable. ahahha. Though TBF, other gachas are din naman (except for something like Genshin).

goofydelinquent: oh I was excluding the gameplay from the concept of idle. what I found was it doesn't use an energy system. progression is gated by resources obtained from town structures. you are free to play as much as you want, but you'll eventually hit a progression wall regardless of how well you play. then it's just earning resources to get stronger.

Ghost_Autonomy: oooh. Yeaah, resources for leveling are pretty scarce - makes returning to collect even more valuable. What I hate about the game though is that it doesn't link to where to get certain resources. x.x

goofydelinquent: that do be true. it does it for objectives or tasks but not for resources haha.

Nikke does a lot fresh, honestly. I could write a 10 page essay on the game.

Ghost_Autonomy: is the synchro device and the level reset new? Might be I haven't played much gacha games but this seems to solve your biggest gripe about character investment in Genshin Impact. :-o
