I love how like. DC actually went there. Not a euphemism or joke, straight up evil clone.
He wasn't even the only one. Match came around close to the same time and had almost the exact same plan

Anyway, that's a very waterd down verson of things but, yeah. Thad in a nutshell
What Roach is glossing over is that he later reappeared and organized the Flash Rogues, who beat a depowered Bart to death. Which is why Tim is freaking out.
And two of the Flash Rogues had been reformed for years and literally babysat Bart/worked with him. I will never stop being angry about Flash FMA 
Hartley deserved better.
God did he ever!
Everyone in that comic deserved better but what they did to Hartley was just character assassination. The fact they had to "fix it" in Coundown of all books.
Hartley was the best babysitter a baby Flash could have asked for. Except for an actual Flash who cares, maybe.

On the plus side, the writers made a mistake and introduced Inertia as Tad instead of Thad, so we can always think he's a different clone.
Not that it does any good for the two reformed Rogues who were supposedly only there undercover or something.
Undercover but STILL kicked him to death, because they "paniced". 
But yeah I'm always thankful they called him Tad. I still subscribe to the fan theory he was another clone. Otherwise thise verson of him makes no sense. Also tracks with the third Inertia we see at the end of the Titans run, and Thad meeting Barry while stuck in the speedforce.
