and unfortunately its almost time for her to be clipped, which means lots of scratches on my arms!

I wasn't actually brushing at the time of the biting. I had paused to clean out the brush

maybe he was saying "don't stop! brush me more!"

Possibly. I repositioned him and he stopped struggling and just lay there to be brushed

sometimes they jsut using biting to communicate, like "hey, i don't like to be held that way"
