Thad is going to be VERY lost in the sauce for this plot. He wants a normal life SO bad. Not sure exactly what's going to be going on with him but it will probably just be very mundane. And I think it would be pretty hard for anyone other then Bart to snap him out of it.
He'll probably end up trying to fight off the reality of the situation tooth and nail.
It's going to be very "Why can't I just have this?!"
Danny on the other hand, is a much harder case. Cuz like, he doesn't want a normal life, he doesn't even know what that is but he doesn't want it. He also lived out his fantasy life and it ended badly.
I think no matter what life this thing throws him into it's going to feel at least a little wrong. He won't know HOW it's wrong, but there's this itching nagging feeling that something isn't right
I think I would have him be someone that can hear the Lady, and he probably would be one of the easier people to snap out of this.
I think Thad will be living with some non-de-script adoptive family, and he just doesn't remember being a clone at all.
Bart...may not even realize that Thad is trapped.
He'll be outside the bubble, but...he's been giving him space.
Yeah, they haven't exactly been keeping tabs on each other. If Bart is going in to save people we could have them bump into each other
Bart might scout things out, but I'm hoping to lean into Sleeper for this event.
ah! okay, i might just keep him to the side for this one then. Try and focus more on getting him regular CR instead. I really need to buckle down with him on that.
I mean, if he does get trapped, he could always come to Bart after...because who else would understand...
ooo, that's a good idea! I'd be down with running with that.
Bart's ideal life would probably mostly be Max alive, so it's hard...
Yeah, I think Bart's kinda got the same issue Danny does. The thing he really wants, this thing can't make happen, and even if it does, it would almost be too cruel to just have it ripped away again.
I mean, he also wants to have something with Thad, because they should be family, but I think if they were forced into it, it would definitely backfire.
That could be interesting at first, since the thing can change their memories and make it so they didn't have a reason to hate each other. But yeah the moment Thad gets his memories back, it wouldn't go over well. Though it probably would give him a lot to think about after the fact.
I think it would be better for Thad to have a separate life where Bart doesn't come into play, though.
From the character development angle.
He needs to find out who Thad is on his own.
true! I do like the idea of him going to Bart after it's been ripped away from him again, though
Maybe you can find some teens who are getting trapped to have a clique with.
yeah, get him some more, like, "normal" interactions without all the baggage, and he could seek them out again later after he's himself again.
