Jason pulling out "Toddster"! It's adorable but also
Jason's figured he needs to bring up something uniquely personal to convince Danny he's not an enemy
It's a good one to bring up!
Jason's also mentally going "what happened to your arms?!"
depending on how this goes, Jason could be the first one to find out. I think Danny's gonna be pretty cagey about it/just make jokes about it with most people. Cuz he just doesn't want to talk about it or take it seriously. But I could see him being honest about it with Jay, if only because he's gonna want to know what happened to him in return.
Oh jesus. Yeah, it's going to be a hell of a conversation. He hasn't really talked in detail about it to anyone in Meta. The DC folks who already know him already know the general details
He'll explain! And will especially mention the Joker being around. But woof.
OH RIGHT, YES. Sleeper would probably know the most out of the non-DC folks
Enough to know Jason was murdered and resurrected
They also know to keep their own counsel.
Yes. And also would know that he was tortured
I think Danny really only knows the bare-bones basics of what likely happened to Jason. So, like, he knows he was killed by the Joker and where, but no specifics beyond that. Batman did a really good job of burying any info about it and Danny had to dig real hard just to get that much.
And that was with Danny going as far as trying to remotely hack the bat computer (to mixed results) and bugging the shit out of poor Alfred (if I remember correctly).
O-Oh no... I need to find that issue
We don't actually see it, but I seem to remember him mentioning it when he's giving Dick a run down on what he found out.
Poor Danny basically finding out on his own. Jesus
Yeah. He tries to act unbothered by the idea of Jason being dead in that issue (cuz that's how he was trained to act), but he's also making it pretty obvious that this is what he's been obsessing over for the whole week the Titans were gone.

I was wrong, he didn't mess with Alfred, no one would pick up.
Also, man, it really is a slap upside the head everytime I read this. The kid really did relay this info in the worst way he could have. Also, damn does he ever sound like Farraday here.
Yeah, can't entirely blame Dick for his initial reaction. Bruce didn't even try to contact him
Yeah, Dick's reaction is pretty understandable. How he found out was ROUGH
Things with Nico are going great!
Danny vaguely tried to not be an asshole for half a second, failed miserably, and imminently gave up.
Holy shit, I didn't know that was how he found out. Damn it, Bruce.
Though I suppose he was only freshly back from Tamaran.
Definitely one of the reasons he made certain to keep Tim close, I think.
Oh, yeah, definitely! If I remember correctly I think there was a mix of Bruce being distant and Dick resenting Bruce at the time he took in Jason. It probably haunts Dick that he wasn't there for the kid. Both during this time and just in general.
Yep. That's the way I've always played it.
I mean, Dick DOES need to remember he was a stupid teenager at the time.
litshard: Literally just got back to Earth and minutes later Danny tells Dick. It was ROUGH
Nico wasn't being THAT awful
Because he's an over dramatic little shit XD
angriestbird: Oooof. Yeah. Definitely why he immediately took Tim under his wing, as it were. Even when he's been pissed at Bruce, he was careful not to let that affect things with Tim. Learned from his mistakes.
SeeMarieRun: God! These two!

Danny just keeps jumping to the worst conclusion at every turn. angry little shit
Dammit Danny Nico’s not coming after you
understandable!
gotta figure out how to shove them together again and make it so Danny can't just walk away. A school project maybe?
make my boy eat crow so they can work together
Nico already has an egg baby partner
I was thinking something after that. I don't know what, but probably something more mundane like a science project. or having them forced to work with each other some otherway
