let me tell you, one of my favorite things I've been able to do in this game is get to lean into the thing with finn being on that sort of cusp of adulthood that the show does, where he is a traumatized kid around a lot of traumatized adults and he wants very badly to understand them + be close to them + doesn't have the tools

necessarily to be what they need, and the frustration that comes from that

i have a lot of fondness for that kind of arc. like, sometimes he gets it right, but usually after like... ages of missing the obvious cues and/or being pushy when he shouldn't be and/or coming to the totally wrong conclusion

i play it for laughs sometimes and for serious other times, but it's a very compelling part of like the Coming Of Age tale for me. love a kid who keeps making mistakes with the best of intentions.

being around humans for the first time and wanting very badly to be able to relate to them is another big part of that.
