17. When would they be too judgmental of someone or something?
I feel like Finn has gotten A LOT less judgemental in late teens, but i would say that, on a case by case basis it’s very plausible. He’s prone to pretty black and white thinking, and something doing something that is, objectively bad, regardless of the reasoning behind it, is

something he struggles NOT to judge harshly.

There’s some third party nuance that tends to get lost in favor of easier to digest behaviors, especially where they differ from his own opinion of what is right/wrong

Which he feels very strongly about.

18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?

A lot of things! Honestly, see the above...anyone trying to backtrack on doing something wrong will have an easy time convincing Finn they deserve a second chance.

Also any time someone needs help? With ANYTHING. Finn can’t say no; he could be completely overburdened and exhausted and still be like ‘year sure I’ll help you move into your apartment, it’s totally cool’

19. Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?
His whole world view? Finn would really rather double down on what he thinks and wants to do most of the time than be confronted with it being flawed. AGAIN this is kind of, in flux, and becoming less true in his late teens, but it’s definitely still there

Being raised by an older brother who is very, VERY indulgent of your views and whims has kind of led Finn to be not great at accepting when people dont want to do what he wants to do or believes.

I think the biggest things are like, his many anxieties about being a bad person? Being like his dad?? Being self centered or taking people or granted especially

Some of which are true! Sometimes! But that’s more like, just being a human, rather than a real Thing. But he really hyperfixates on those mistakes and flaw like they are indicative of a greater whole

yeah, his whole thing about being scared of becoming his dad is a really big one right now

Also, and perhaps tied to that, her persistent feeling that he has to fix everything and everyone around him personally

Being extremely Excessive? But these days, trying to counter balance being excessive by being extremely skittish and noncommittal

Finn is fully and painfully aware of how INVESTED in other people he gets (true of...all flavors of his relationships, not just his romantic ones) and that it’s not often reciprocated with the same speed or intensity which can lead to hurt feelings, so he mostly KEEPS IT TO HIMSELF. Again; being 17

Finn is in a kind of, ACTUALLY LEARNING FROM PAST MISTAKES phase of life, but almost everything i talked about above is kind of part of, patterns he’s still learning to move away from, or other ways of navigating the world
