Just walked passed my parents room and heard them say my name. I stopped and asked what they were talking about me for.

Apparently they want me to cook meals for the kid.

The kid is 16 years old

I pointed this out and that he is perfectly capable of making food himself, unless we're all together and can have a 'family' meal.

Which we don't do even now. So makes me think they're just making a show for the kid.

We all like different things and eat at different times. But nevermind. I just hope mother isn't going to go overboard...

Last time, when we had my nephew here, she was...overbearing. The kid would mock her for when she'd tell me to boil the kettle for him, when he could do it himself.

Couldn't say or do anything with my nephew without my mum going off the deep end. So I really really hope this isn't gonna happen again.
