1.1 We were SECRETLY dating when he was still trying to pursue me. (because HE SAID SO. that shit hurts so bad, tbh) but I eventually told my friends (Mary, Reed, Christie) the truth, I hated the fact that I had to lie to them almost everyday just for me to be with him.

1.2 It was DRAINING. Especially when I had to hide from Zandro & Bill, because I know they were against it. And they was a time we were already CAUGHT by TLs and colleagues, so there was no point in lying/hiding it anymore.

2.1 I was HONESTLY NOT ready to enter a relationship in 2021. Looking back, I was certain I'll be ending 2021 as SINGLE. I didn't see being 'in a relationship' coming. Though I had suitors, (not to brag, just stating. lol) I was just entertaining them for me not to get bored, but SURPISE, MOTHERFUCKER! I met Dan, I grew to like him each day.

2.2 I think that's the reason why I allowed him to pursue me even when I knew it was just less than a month when they broke up. I ALREADY LIKED HIM that time. He said he likes me & he'll pursue me & guess what, it was on my BIRTHDAY. Everything happened so fast. So the comment 1.1 & 1.2 took place after this.

3.1 So this is where I started to feel hurt. I think it was 12/05/21, he had to go to his ex, Pia because he had to visit his son (Disclaimer: I understood the situation, I WAS a parent too) but it was like a hard pill to swallow, knowing that his ex still has been trying to reach out to him all throughout those months that Dan's pursuing me.

3.2 I know the love is still there, and it was hard to communicate with him since her place had a low signal coverage. I had no choice but to wait. (I met up with my ex too) and after few hours, he asked me "DN TA MAKITAAY" so I was surpised and happy cos I didn't expect that he wanted to see me aftermath. Long story short, he was wearing his ex's shirt. WTF

3.3 I knew because HE SMELLED DIFFERENTLY and the shirt was unfamiliar to me. He confirmed that he borrowed it. Double kill, right? Lol. I was hurting already during the courting stage. But what can I do? I already like -- No, LOVE. I already fell in love with him and I don't even know why.

4.1 Even if I WASN'T ready, tadaaa! I decided to take risk. One of my friends in TP (Mai) was getting married & she invited me. I got excited because I finally got to attend a wedding again after a few yrs.

4.2 I wanted Dan to be my date, so I asked Mai's permission to bring a plus 1, & before she answered, she asked who's the lucky guy, I declared him as my BF (but he still WASN'T). She was so happy for me that she told our other friends: Kling, Faith that finally! I already have a BF. In the back of my mind I was like "WTF did I just do? He's not even my BF"

4.3 So that was already a BIG DEAL because I think I was sort of 'ready' to have some of my friends meet him. I told him he's invited, he said yes BUT he wasn't able to go on absent as his scorecard (work-related) is on the rocks - but then: Idk what got into me but I told him my first "I love you" during my trip. That's our 1st day as a couple.

4.4 BTW, I told him beforehand that when the time comes that I'm ready to be his GF, I'll say the three words. So there. The rest is history.
