5. What does a day off look like for your character?
he resents getting days off so much, canonically. he tries to find something to do which is normally spend time with his animals, draw/paint, and probably inevitably start training or going over his dad's unsolved cases. if his brother is in town, he will go to the zoo or the arcade with him.

24. What's the first thing your character does in the morning and before going to sleep?
he's a very light sleeper so he doesn't actually have any rituals. if he had a nightmare he'll take a few moments to test reality and confirm what's real. as for before going to sleep he doesn't really allow himself a routine.

46. Which deadly sin is your character most guilty of?
so most people would probably say pride or wroth but i'd go with envy, because his ego is a mixture of a pretty natural response to being the heir to an international cabal of the world's deadliest assassins that worship your bloodline and being exceptional even beyond that - and it's also a performance

fell asleep in the middle of writing this response but

damian feels like all his siblings got something that he didn't, because they were adopted by his dad and he was forced on him. he built his entire life around this man whose only connection to him was blood, only to find out that his father already has five children. he's insecure and jealous of tim, and of everyone who came to bruce less broken and hard to

love. he's jealous of normal people, of jon having a happy family, of the way his dad forgives jason so readily (in his mind, because jason has had all of damian's lessons and still chooses to murder people) of the way they so easily praise cass' abilities. and that drives a lot of his performative arrogance.

subwaymaster: 22. What's your character's most embarrassing memory?
probably the whole line cutting incident with tim. not because he feels really especially bad for cutting tim's line or attacking him, he blames tim's poor measurements for that, but for losing the fight so badly and for the whole miscommunication that caused it. ie thinking that tim

was going to kill him. which in his defense. in the far off future of batman 666 tim certainly tried and failed to do that.

just kind of embarrassing.

35. What kind of magic appeals to your character?
magic is damian's childhood special interest. specifically anything to do with demon summoning and pacts made with otherworldly entities. if he had it his way he would be a warlock basically.

38. What is your character like when tired?
he's a lot less guarded for one

after tiring himself out one time he allowed himself to fall asleep on alfred, who carried him to bed. damian can go days without sleep and not let it get to his performance, but when he actually lets himself give into it he's just sleepy and more honest.

when he's gone days without sleep and it has begun affecting his performance i'd say it's the opposite and he actually becomes more irritable and mean.

40. What kind of weather does your character prefer? What do they hate?
so damian spent the first ten years of his life in the middle east. he's got a much higher tolerance for hot weather than he does for cold weather. having said that, i think he actually likes it when it's slightly cooler, because it's very distinctly gotham.

also he remembers that time he sassed his brother about the rain and he's delighted

well, she cried herself to sleep all through harrow the ninth but she's very smug most of the time and really wants you to think she's doing great. she describes herself as the emperor's whipping girl in nona. she goes on an angry rant to kiriona about how the emperor

will never truly care about her as a daughter because he's too hung up on what he wants from the barbie looking doll he made into something she's not. kind of like what her parents did to coronabeth.

23. How far would your character go to get what they want?
here's the thing. here's the fucked up answer here. the answer is "not as far as she wants you to think she would". like sure she'll kill a thousand strangers from a planet that isn't hers that she can close her eyes and pretend aren't real, but.

she would draw a very real line at like, actually the sheer amount of destruction that other characters are willing to unleash. she found cytherea disgusting, she was horrified by augustine and mercymorn leaving the empire to die, and she wants to keep john from making things any worse by keeping him as he is, miserable and weak, forever.

the funniest thing about ianthe is that she's the only lyctor who still gives a shit. more so than harrow by a lot. she's the only one still trying and it's futile because nobody else actually cares.

56. What kind of characters are good influence on yours? Bad influences? What kind of influence is your character on others?
lol lmao rofl

i think an important part of being a good influence on ianthe is being as smart as ianthe, or at least being on a similar level. if she views you as an equal then she'll be a lot less inclined to sneer at you or mock you for fun. the characters i think that would be a good match for her in canon are like...

pre lobotomy harrow, palamedes and camilla. aka people who don't necessarily like her but do at least acknowledge her as a peer of sorts. i think gideon was also pretty close to that except gideon isn't a necromancy genius but she is still similarly competent and unafraid to tell her to shut the fuck up.

as for bad influences... anyone who lets her walk all over them or tries to preach morality at her will probably just do more harm than good. a rival competing with her is one thing, someone trying to school her in being better is just going to make her really angry and get worse to spite them.

also people with similar issues who just rile her up with no concern for her wellbeing. like john gaius.

as for her as an influence.... she's a bad influence but i again don't even think she's necessarily as bad as she'd like you to think she is.

she doesn't tend to drag other people into it when she does something bad, to the point of actively going behind coronabeth and babs' back to investigate the facilities.

she's a bad friend but not really... a bad influence. like she's probably a bad influence on kiriona and part of the cause of her being so much nastier but like. without her, kiriona just has john, who is the worst influence.

7. Does your character have a natural enemy/nemesis?
chara's answer is humanity. just as a whole, humanity. they generally mean "society and the oppressive expectations of society and the constant cycle of abuse" they just view this as inseparable from the human race as a whole. the real answer is like....... mmm..... i would say "The Player" as an entity

not really a person so much as a concept either way. they don't consider sans a nemesis or even really that much of an enemy but they do think he's the worthiest opponent they faced.

26. What does your character overthink about?
lol. lmao.

they overthink basically everything. specifically they tend to doomspiral about their place in the universe and they're unable to accept things as just being as they are.

in their defense they often aren't just how they are, and they tend to be right to doubt these things, but the extent that they take it is that they can't do anything about the horrible truths they learn and it just turns them angry and bitter and leaves them unable to live in peace.

they're an incredibly smart but deeply pessimistic kid. they learned that their reality is a game and instead of asking if that truly matters they were so hollow and angry at this knowledge that they decided there was nothing in it worth keeping because none of it is real and therefore none of it matters.

they could allow themselves to be Chara Dreemurr, the former crown prince of the underground, but instead they're stuck on what their true identity is, namely the narrator whose name depends on the whim of it's master. if chara were less smart, they would be a lot happier basically.

34. on a negative level, i'd say what's holding chara back is this belief that i think a lot of troubled kids have which is that their pain is the center of the universe. they alone believe they have all the answers to the fundamental truth of the universe and if anyone disagrees with them, they're just ignorant and wrong.

oh shit wait question was "34. What is holding your character back? Is that a good or a bad thing?"

they need everything that happened to them to matter because if it didn't then what was the point of all of it. if they're just a victim, why did they have to survive, why do they get a second chance when everyone they betrayed dies. the idea that forgiveness or redemption is possible for them here makes their blood boil.

and that holds them back from accepting anything good about trench like their newfound freedom to make their own choices or the chance to build a new home with new friends they love.

as for what holds them back from getting worse, they don't want to make frisk cry again. they care about other people too, but they'd all be a lot more understanding in their mind, since everyone they have left understands that they're not a good person and they were never pretending to be. frisk meanwhile is sort of a morality chain to them, because they

don't want to corrupt them again and force them into something they're not.
