ahahahahahaha. I remember one year in an apt. we woke up to a carpet that had FROZEN from the cold as the heater went out on Xmas Eve. Yah getting that fixed was a riot.

Oh no! I had something like that happen once - frozen pipe in the upstairs unit flooded my house and then froze. We had to chip the socks off the floor with a putty knife because everything was frozen. I'm so glad I don't own a rental building. Wild times.

same here. I told my husband if we were in NE it would be snowing.
