my sotrp is ‘OOC/real life stuff stess and I’ve been miminally on social media and mostly holed up playing Resident Evil’
my plurk coin ran out, so, insert some emotes i dont have access to right this second
THINGS ARE LIKE, SLOWLY IMPROVING, spring is coming, I’m getting sunshine and fresh air and that’s helping me feel better in general
Sticking with OOC stuff, I’m really, really happy with all my threads and CR stuff going on, and if I’ve been a little quieter/less enthusiastic/less communicative on plurk, it’s NOT reflective of not having a fun time at all!!
Emerging from my cavern like a little goblin to thank everyone who’s been patient with me in this trying time....
you take care of yourself! sending big hugs and good energy your way
in a nice snuggly blanket
derkins: where did you get this video of me leaving my house
bc its me everytime i come onto plurk

all of us
Reaching through the deck slats for treats
I love how much that genuinely looks like a horror movie
I LEGIT THOUGHT IT WAS TINY BABY HANDS
But anyway, continuing! I think that a good practise for this event is going to be to take it a little bit slower, just focus on quality over volume and work on CR stuff! I don’t expect Finn’s search to turn up anything super big, so i don;t think that will take up too much of my time/brain power
I usually find myself getting overwhelmed sometime between events when i’ve still got a lot of old stuff, a lot of current stuff and a new event looming, so I’m working on balancing that a little better! some of it will be staggering threads a little more, instead of 1000 NEW THINGS AT ONCE, and also
Like, when possible, boomeranging things through to close has been REALLY helpful for me! I like doing that where possible, so the thread is open and closed in a way that is satisfying! OBviously that’s not every thread, which is totally okay. It’s nice to do that when I CAN to keep things moving/my inbox tidy
ITS A GOOD LESSON; i’ve never been much of a boomeranger in games because I usually want to try and wipe my inbox every time, but I’m really starting to see the light on this method
yeah i'm sort of learning the same thing as i go... there's no need to rush and throw myself into everything
i always find myself having an easier time with boomerangs too
being able to stay within the same scene and write it consistently feels a lot more intuitive than constantly jumping between a bunch of different things
ALSO THANK YOU...WHOEVER SENT ME A PLURK COIN
