Which i do all the time, because I enjoy it, and I’ll never be able to afford as much of it as I want but it’s fun to daydream

Me and Em have done some smaller family/more local trips since 2020 but (understandably for both pandemic and also we were buying a house reasons) but I’m getting itchy for bigger trips in the future

I DO want to try and prioritize some little trips this summer, just things I accessible around Philly, like DC for instance

My BIG pie in the sky plan in the next few years, is I really want to go to Okinawa with my mom. I’ve talked to her about going and she said she would so maybe I’ll start making some distant plans for that

definitely get yourself some little trips in between!! it's still fun just going like. a state or 2 away, something driveable or a train trip

that sounds like it'd be a really neat trip too

That’s a big advantage of moving more centrally on the coast....Philadelphia is such an easy hub to go in so many directions for day or weekend trips to other states/cities

I’ve been really craving the BEACH

Not even like, swimming or anything, just the salty sea air and boardwalk smell and that kind of thing

A good/bad thing about me is I love visiting the same places, because I like doing deep dives

I've been considering where I want to solo travel to since I have all this dang vacation time

But it means there’s a lot places I would LIKE to go, but then I like revisiting places and discovering more about them. I’m not super big on the shallow toe dipping

BUT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH TIME/MONEY

We really should do the beach tbh

I am also craving the beach

I feel like when it comes to travel, it's very much what suits you personally!

some people never visit the same place twice, some people only travel to a few places. some people travel the country and never leave it and some people want to go everywhere in the world
