It's complicated since his mother died when he was still a baby. But the guy who took care of him for a bit (not his bio father) was super close to her before he was born and used to tell him a lot about her. ;;b

He even gave Nikki a ring that has his mother's name on it. Which is important for its own reasons.

I guess Nikki's mom is also important since he death kinda made his bio father snap, blaming him for it, and catalyzed a lot of his abuse. :x
