Having to roll a d20 for every age up to see who lives and dies is a bit nerve racking
I was watching someone's playthrough where they've had really good luck for their first gen but the few deaths that have happened has really sucked
And there's a lot of deaths possibly.
Several recommend having a specific mod folder just for this challenge because the mods can really mess with regular gameplay since it has unique careers and other uh... realistic issues
So the original decades challenge is like 1800s - 2000s but where is the fun in that
THESE RULES oh my gooooooodness
It's kinda interesting how this person has gone through so much effort to categorize and make rolls for these events
Like. Actually really interesting. This is almost the level of ridiculous I might do.
Never let me DM you guys, just saying. It'll get tedious
So I think I'll download the mods and make a second mod folder today and see if someone already has a pre-established sims world that I can work with so I don't need to make too many significant edits
Well, I don't have to spend time with editing
I love/hate this idea because I actually hate killing my sims but this is potentially the only way I won't get attached to them. Much.
I've downloaded 4GB of mods and stole someone's pre-made world save so I don't spoil my immersion. I think I can try to start this challenge now lmao
Some of these mods... oof. Gonna take some playtesting
The recommended mods for this are not 4gb worth. I just got invested and slowly sank into the wormhole that is cc shopping
I actually really like this world
If anyone is curious
It is less nitty gritty medieval and more fantastical d&d lotr vibes
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT. Honestly, the detail is amazing and even the shared screenshots posted aren't even half the amazing builds
There are no updates for worlds after Moonwood Mill but that's okay. Leaves room to do your own building if you want to
