satorika is the ship of all time to me. there's a lot to criticize gou and sotsu for but the relationship between rika and satoko was amazing and, imo, the natural breaking point of so many issues in their friendship that already existed in the original visual novels. also they're tiny wives, most married ten year olds you've ever seen.

i've been going through the visual novels with my friends (one who hasn't read them) and pointing and yelling at every thematically relevant thing satoko says (which is a lot)

as for harryianthe, my opinion is that it's good but it's not my favorite ship for either of them. their relationship is genuinely hilarious to me though.

re: harryianthe i think my opinion about it is also that i think ianthe's a lot more sincere and almost... normal about it than people tend to believe. like she's definitely possessive and manipulative and awful but i would also say that that's a common throughline between most relationships in tlt? ianthe has nobody left and harrow gave her what she's

craving by acknowledging her talent and abilities and regarding her as an equal, meanwhile everyone else bought into the grand lie that is coronabeth tridentarius and her effortless talent, so ianthe craves that and to some extent harrow still gives it to her by coming to her for help every single time.
