in terms of plotting, i'm mainly interested in the door plot and specifically the trench future plot? because it directly relates to both of my planned arcs for them

the events, sadly, im not doing the door thing though.

faith will go through the lower door and she'll end up in a future where she's one of ozpin's combat professors and a mentor figure to younger sleepers, she'll have friends and family and people looking to her for guidance and she and willow will probably be happy and domestic. she'll have a pretty normal reaction to this and will mostly take this as gentle

guidance to stop hesitating in the pursuit of what she wants, because she actually likes and trusts bausphomette.

she doesn't want to go back to the buffyverse because in her brain the buffyverse is just as awful as trench but the people are worse.

yeah.......... the people in faith's world aren't quite as bad as the westerosi moral standard but

she has had a uniquely horrible experience with them

NOW CHARA

chara's future trench will be similar. though not quite the same because while faith has the opportunity to become a leader and fully embrace redemption, chara won't ever really choose that. but! what chara will do in the future trench is stop punishing themselves, and make peace with the fact that their world is gone. they'll finally accept what others have

been telling them about how if they find the world so horrible, shouldn't they try to build something better?

they'll still be grouchy and edgy, but they'll grow up to be secretly pretty content, with no desire to leave trench and the life they've made for themselves here. they'll be living the married life with frisk and they'll have a lab where they work on fixing corruption using dark time magic. and during that they'll fully go work with the sleeper's archives

which will be heavily expanded and contain multiple floors and stations

chara's reaction to this......... will be considerably less healthy lmfao

because they'll also go upstairs, and live life as it would have happened they never came to deer

and they'll find themselves in the void, for a year, waiting

but nobody came.

they'll see this as their enemy (the patrons) trying to prove that they belong to trench, and the only way they'll be happy is if they stop struggling.

out of spite, they'll intentionally embrace corruption and will get progressively worse, which will culminate in one last destructive plan in what will probably be july

i need to contact everyone relevant but i think one of the stations discovered in the sleeper's archives would be an altar that allowed trenchies to steal the powers of sleepers so they'll be gunning for that

if the sleeper archives are in play I think the starks would at least try to keep euron greyjoy's horrible squid encased in magic ice there,

idk how well it would go. but that could be fun in and of itself
