I've been on an off waffling about getting one for YEARS, but when I was in boston i knew too many people who got hit by cars and the bike lanes were sketchy at best

in philly I live right near the river and theres like, 100+ miles of maintained path along the river that I love walking so I thought maybe I would finally take up some leisurely cycling

I took it for a test ride and I was a LITTLE unconfident but I rode a LOT as a child/teen so it did not feel unnatural

ALSO VERY LUCKY that I have a step dad who is big cyclist so I was able to bring him to help navigate because I did not know what to ask/what to look for/what anything meant

cerebrah: uhhh. semi? the river trail is like half paved, half gravel, with some boardwalk. it can get a little rough and tumble but I got tired and shocks that can handle it

it's not actually in until later this week and they still need to build it and then I can go in for adjustments so in the meantime I'm just like CANT WAIT.....
