Starting with me because being in a relationship for 6+ years means i am the authority on Em, and I can very certainly say that they are one of the smartest, funniest and most thoughtful people I have ever known and they’ve had a very very hard year and deserve to have all those facts acknowledged!!

RP is always a point of sticky self esteem I think, so I also want to give special to mention to how yore one of my absolute favorite people in the whole world to RP with. I love that you are genuinely interested in the collaborative and mechanical side of this silly hobby, and put so much thought not just into threading, but into what makes a good thread

I’ve witnessed first hand how much time and effort and real excitement you have for crafting fun and memorable experiences for others. It’s a very gracious thing to be so interested in other people’s characters and to support the narratives they want to tell and to actually really maximize the collaborative part of this hobby

I always love your little experiments with the medium and desire to do things that step outside the bounds of standard RP fare...the creativity and passion you have for these things is so contagious and always makes ME more excited about RP and finding different ways to play and use the medium!

Your characters are ALWAYS so fun, and its partially the choices, and that you are drawn to such inherently complex and unique characters, but it’s also credit to your skill as a writer to actually bring what makes those characters interesting in their stories, into threads

Obviously we clicked with RP pretty much immediately and it as a gateway to a lot of shared sensibilities about media, and storytelling and art generally, but the specificity of the medium shouldn’t be ignored. I’ve loved every thread we’ve ever done, and always been impressed with how easily and readily you throw yourself into a game and into threads.

You’re also an incredible, talented and generous artist. One of my favorite things of this year has been seeing you draw more, because I love everything you draw and I know everyone else does too and I hope we continue to see more of it

Hey, Em! I know we haven't spoken properly in ages, passing comments once or twice as we both go about your lives. I'm glad we're still friends even if its been ages since we've shared a game.

Its probably a little silly on my part, but I do think about you and Sam both fairly regularly. Seeing how excited you guys are in Xmilla always makes me smile, I peek in on plurks and watch you guys build CR.

em you are WONDERFUL and i am so so so glad that we got to meet again in dwrp, especially with these characters and in this game, but FIRST AND FOREMOST you're just such a lovely and funny and creative person and sharing that energy with you has been a spot of joy for me in the last. god it's only been half a year

You're a genuinely this strong creative force who has such a keen eye for detail in everything you do. I can always see just how passionate and thoughtful you are about everything you throw yourself into. You know how to tell a story and intend to make it this fun ride no matter what

You were an inspiration to me back in Savrou days to actually take a big chance in my life and change my living situation. The fact you thrived when dealing with new big situations always felt like- inspiration to me. Something encouraging that even when life got strange or bumpy, there would always be a good thing to come next.

We're all here for you when you need any of us!

i think that is in itself a credit to how kind and welcoming a person you are, i knew you in passing for a long time but immediately you treated me with so much warmth which means a lot

em you are SUCH a cool person!! your art is beautiful and your writing is amazing, every time you pick up a character you have such interesting ideas for them and you're absolutely fantastic at coming up with plots for them to engage with other characters' development as well as your own and i think that's the mark of a really great RPer

also i love your and sam's puppers. every time i see bean or clem in a picture it brightens my day

i like that we have similar funny old man sensibilities and thoughts about writing characters with so many layers, and i am not kidding im seriously showing off this current memory maze thread to people because it's just gorgeous nuanced writing. it's so good. im regularly blown away by what you write and so happy i get to partake

you are such a sincere presence. you share enthusiasms, you share psychological deep dives, you share a willingness to speak about your character(s) and to listen and invite others to share in kind. you're a delight to speak with, wonderful to write with,

Em, I am SO GLAD I've had the chance to know you. I can be pretty cynical when it comes to rpers and rp friendships (in that I like most people in rp but rarely make the effort to forge new friendships with rpers) and then someone will come along and surprise me by just being such a fun and wonderful human being that I can't help wanting to know them more

you (and Sam) have both done that and it's been such a blast getting to know you both. You're so ridiculously creative and so easy to plot with. You bring such enthusiasm with you to everything you approach and your joy is contagious
