Hello, I don't say much these days but I respectfully have a request. If you're going to give all your thoughts and prayers to the families of 5 people in the submersible, could you perhaps spare some for 500+ people, and their loved ones, who died/are missing from the Andriana off the coast of Greece just over a week ago?
A vessel that likely sank with hundreds of women and their children trapped in the hold. Packed together in the dark while the water rushed in. People who had also paid large sums of money in order to improve their lives.
Information is sketchy, there are many differing accounts of the incident and I feel like this awful tragedy is being rapidly buried by the events of the Titan and it would be good if some small amount of media coverage or awareness of that event could be given to this
It's horrible that it's not getting the attention it should. I don't know the whole story but it's just awful.
Yes, completely agree 10,000%! These people require our thoughts and prayers maybe a little bit more. So very many die as they attempt to cross the waters to improve their lives (almost weekly it seems). Many of them fleeing from atrocities and persecutions too. Shame so many resources are expended on 5 billionaires when they could be used to save hundreds.
It really is horrible that this kind of thing is not getting the attention it should have.. my thoughts are with them
