TN is a solid 12 hour drive from Philadelphia....DL is barely 2

Tennessee was such a weird choice for my parents to move to....I know they were just desperate to get out of Florida

but it's been had for my mom being such a long way from family....me and Em have made the drive a few times, but I know most of the family doenst want to go down there (and tbf they have young kids and are even further than us)

BUT DELAWARE!!

I have not lived this close to my mom in like, 12+ years, it's always a huge trip, usually. plane ticket and vacation time etc. we never spend holidays together

this is going to COMPLETLEY change that....DL is a SHORT trip, we can just go for a day, no lost work time, minimal planning, no plane tickets, no having to pay for dog sitters

also now i can dog sit for my mom when they travel....that's a big expense for them too when they are travelling

added bonus is that she's going to be 20 mins from the beach which is VERY exciting to me

also I'm just very happy for my parents....I know they love tennessee (see; the scenery) but they are so isolated down there

Because SHE likes Tennessee (she lives in Connecticut)

SHE NEEDS TO GET OVER IT. They’re both very excited about it and being a sourpus because you can’t visit them once a year down there anymore is stupid.

I was sad when they left florida, because i love Florida! But i did not pout about THEIR move in front of them
