My mom bought a copy of TotK that was marked as "AU"

but I've been looking on the box and online and it doesn't seem like this game has region locking?

Can anyone confirm this or is this something that needs to be returned?

Yeah...can confirm...though not through TotK. I got a Japanese version of Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher since it was digital only here and I wanted a card. The DlLC doesnt work with it
