i have been re-reading too many of maitake2's old comics

i have a devil-homu journal and it's fun to sneer and be a fake-ass devil but it's not as much fun being a melodramatic goober without characters who know her enough to call her ass on it

it's probably cause of how non comedic Madoka itself is, which doesn't help when you consider the international version of the mobile game lived and died in the span of less than a year.

which gachas I understand the negative of but there was a lot of characters with a lot of stories and some of them goofy ah

oh, yes, i am well aware of that. i didn't get to finish the story of it.

the gameplay was... not a favorite of mine

Yeah I think a number of people did which might be why they pushed the Walpurgis Raid out quicker than was expected

It did not inspire a lot of interest despite what good content and potential it had

yeah. i really liked some of the characters. of course, the ones with the most focus tended to be the less interesting ones, but that's standard

of course it also came out during the height of like...other bigger Gachas hitting their peak, like...I think it came out internationally the same time NA FGO was getting Camelot.

it's a shame i wasn't able to keep the husk of the game on my phone for space reasons, it was at least nice to still be able to look through the characters i'd unlocked

and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was still swinging hard before its weird renmes

eh the appeal of the gallery never was much to me cause despite the time sink if I want to only look at JPGs I'll just go check a wiki out

i liked it for the transformation videos, in particular the one for the joke manga madoka

the videos are what made it such a space hog

anyway i know madoka's a serious series, that's what makes the comedy so fun. i want a sayaka to have petty fights and arguments. a disaster gay god-madoka to have silly theological battles with. a kyouko to just kinda hang out with because i like their dynamic - i guess what i'm getting at is i wish there were more madoka canon players
