THIS IS A TOUGH ONE FOR ME

It has perhaps the most specific aesthetic vibe of any event since i brought Finn in....which I LIKE A LOT, from a setting standpoint. I’m REALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT

But the aesthetic of pirate and pirate-adjacent are not things that I’m currently into drawing

Usually for clothing design i have a multi tiered process of
+My own preferences of things to draw (I LOVE to draw clothing, so this has weight)
+What is the look/vibe of the event, “practical” aspect of how does it fit in (informed also by backstory)
+Character: how does the character wear their clothes, what do they like/dislike (visual storytelling)

OFTEN I HAVE A GOOD IDEA OUT THE GATE, but I’m gonna have to explore some options with this one more i think

I love the process you have with character design and I desperately want to do this alongside you

I feel like my thought process is going to lean towards the kind of work they do

does finn need some tips

I’m planning on going the galley cook route, with just kinda practical fabrics that are comfortable

Lots of physical labor on a ship and finn is such an outdoor dog

I’m TEMPTED TO really make up something just for fun....like, most of his backstories have been pretty like, just Finn. Alydhion was as wild as he got

Obviously them being crew members narrows down the options a little

That could be fun! I feel like you gotta be careful not to go too big tho

It’s a long mission and you want something sustainably fun + that doesn’t put up too big a way between Finn’s threads and himself/his actual growth

Oh yeah i dont think it would make sense to do something too big

But being one guy for strangers and one guy with orbers and trying to keep that going could be FUN

I PROBABLY WONT DO MUCH TBH, like, their place is pre-secured so i think it’s not worth weaving anything too complicated into that

I was actually wondering it i would go sans prosthetic; he hasn’t had a long from from it in like 3 months, and i feel like you could argue the technology doesn’t fit in with the local tech
