翻得不是很精確，但大概能理解Lea的意思。菲律賓從1980一直到今天，政局動盪，政府貪污，從原本可以跟日本並駕齊驅的亞洲經濟體，墜落為人民被迫離鄉背井，到他國幫傭的窘況。國族自信心遭受打擊的他們，當時最需要的就是這個吧，Lea在舞台上發光，她盡自己的努力鼓舞了家鄉人。使他們能為一個小女孩在歐美拿了大獎而驕傲，連任迪士尼公主而驕傲，而Lea也為自己是一個菲律賓人而驕傲，她對自己國家的愛，不因為去美國發展而減退，反而更努力地以菲律賓人的身份在舞台上發光，讓國際看到。

Because I know the horror of what happens when that thing fails when your instrument decides to rebel and stop working for you."
