IF NOT SEASONAL IS it even season??

So they are changing it mid-Sept or so to be "ticket" based.

Basically, they will (I suspect) give you tickets as log in rewards from time to time. If you have a ticket, you can make a Season Character. The tickets never expire. So you can hold onto them until a new class releases that you're dying to try if you want to

They've had issues well, not really ISSUES but like aligning Season with a new class release has missed the mark at times. Sometimes a new class releases HALFWAY after everyone is invested in a different class or like, just after a Season finishes and we're stuck waiting for the next one for a week or two to make the new class

HONESTLY the 'go at your own pace' thing sounds great. Not feeling rushed to get x y and z Season benefit sounds fantastic

And I can really see it helping new players. But I think "Season" needs a name change lol

Because I can see someone coming in from DESTINY where Seasons are viciously FOMO and being like WHAT'S MY DEADLINE

And then being like lol what deadline

"But it's called Season"

Anyways, I'm really excited for this update and I can really seeing new guild members thriving off of the ability to just CHILL and take their time or just EVERYONE logging in with Newest Class Clones when they come out

WuKong MONKEY KING EQUIVALENT class is suspected to release this Fall

And I am. Not. I have 2 male class characters. One is an Archer twink and the other has benefits of being a FREE key to annoying to reach grind spots that require keys to get in.

I do love Monkey King but idk if they would uphold Journey to the West or do a different spin with it, in regards to the class's backstory

Lol yeah. It's a fantastic change! But needs a naming rework. But I honestly don't know what would be better to call it

It's a particular character with special gear with easier upgrades and access to special servers that Normal characters can't access. When you "graduate" you keep the gear, character, but you lose access to those special servers

The servers have exp boosts that make character creation vastly easier and 1 without ANY pvp and 1 focused on open-world pvp (with higher drop rates to compensate)

they should make a whole new word for it even if it doesn't fit on the face of things

like FFXIV used to have a special PVP thing called Feast

i think they got rid of it but i wasn't really in that scene so i'm not sure
