But it hasn't done much to stop some and the ban lists have gotten ridiculous so this is their newest counter-measure. Currently only in the KR server

Death is VERY punishing in BDO

You lose 2% exp and at some levels 2% is about 20-40 hours of grinding

And you risk Crystals which are EXPENSIVE.

One of my crystals is worth 10bil which is about 10-20 hours of grinding in value

And every death is a % chance to destroy a crystal without a way to get that crystal back. It's high risk, high reward

So death is terrifying lol

OH and that's just ONE of my crystals. My whole set is worth about 60bil and several WEEKS of effort. Some crystals can't be sold but must be earned in weekly boss blitz solo attempts. And they aren't guaranteed. So you can see nothing for weeks
