it is okay but the things I dislike are infuriating.

when you nail all the visuals but not the story because you're afraid Americans who don't watch anime won't be invested without certain tropes

but at the same time were warned by the author that he won't lie to his fans so you pepper it with tons of anime and references only for the fans

I understand having to compress for time but why change entire storylines to do it??

oh and there's also Wano spoilers in it for anyone not caught up

Did you ever see the FMA live production? It's like they put the first anime's stories in a blender, then invented a freak out for Al to have. Great visuals, horrible script.

I did watch the Bleach LA because I figured they could do better than Kubo anyway

and I love the LA Dynasty Warriors movie because it captured the cheesy glory of the game
