My intact My Little Pony castle and all my 1st gen ponies
My intact She-ra castle and figures
all of my horse grl shame
you should price-check some of those. if they're in good condition, you might be able to make a decent bit of scratch on eBay
I spent all day going through papers and drawings from the 80s
oh yeah I'm totally gonna try to sell the She-ra set
yeah that stood out, but you never know, some of those MLPs might be worth a bit too, if they're gen 1 toys.
but the Advanced D&D coloring book is MINE
it gets to live on the shelf with Rose's CritRole books
oh yeah, we have some vintage She-Ra figures and castles at work and the selling price is REDONKULOUS
so you'll definitely make some nice $$ with those
good thing I didn't treat them like my sisters did their Barbies....
No Weird Barbies for you!
Oh yeah! I'd definitely price check that stuff! Some of the MLP stuff could be quite valuable, depending on condition and which ones they are. If you do consider selling them, I can point you to the forum I'm on, who'll help you with IDing, price checks, and also where you can sell them directly, too.
YESS uftaki I was going to ping you for that since you're in the know
especially where to go for honest collectors who won't repaint them
Well, if their condition is bad enough, or they are dirt-cheap-common, then customization is actually a very valid craft. But if they're rarer/more-in-demand, then customization usually isn't considered by most serious collectors. If there are some flaws, some might attempt restoration instead.
My Little Pony Trading Post <-- this is the forum I'm on; the My Little Pony Trading Post. You'd have to register, and it's free, and there are lots of people there who'll help with whatever questions you have. I can try to answer any questions here or in a PM first, though.
But if you don't want anyone repainting the ponies, you can always specify that, too, in the sales listing. That you'd prefer people don't
sweet, thank you so much! I'm glad they'd be ok with putting that in the listing
most of them are in really good shape, aside from age, they were stored in a bin for 30 years
I'm sure they won't mind. It's your sales post, so you can list whatever conditions you want. I mean, once it's out of your hands, it's really out of your hands what they do with it, but you can still ask.
For sales posts, and for price checks, lots of photos are always good, and pics and descriptions of any flaws. Best to take photos from the side for ID purposes, so we can see symbol, colour/hair, pose, etc.
yeah, I know, I can't stop people. it's a weird sentimental thing.
Yeah, I get it. I understand.
And also, if there ARE any you have the sentimental feelings for and just can't let 'em go, that's fine, too! Don't give anyway anything you want to keep.
But I am also really, REALLY curious as to which ponies you have. XD
the G1 ID links were so useful but I even have some babies the wiki doesn't have! baby versions of very known adults like Glory and Surprise
they're all G1 at least, guaranteed
The G1 babies are pretty common... I don't know why they wouldn't be on whatever wiki list you looked at. Lemmie get you some more links, or PM me with photos and I'll help ID any you might have missed
I'll do that this weekend, just to make sure I got them right
found everything else on the wiki including the So Soft and Twice As Fancy
