AS EXPECTED it's become SEA vs TH
But SEA is mostly English speaking and TH is basically just Thai, haven't met any of them who speak English yet or choose not to
So everyone is just yelling in different languages at each other and it's not working well.
SEA has Mandarin, Indonesian, Filipino, Malay, Vietnamese, and others besides those
So you'll get KONTOL as often as you'll get กระเจี๊ยว
^ They both mean the same thing. DON'T LOOK IT UP
But I am having to learn how to read noodles in a MIGHTY HURRY
So one flaw in BDO's system is that in order to declare war on another guild or message another player
You need to SPELL THEIR NAME
And if their name is using a different alphabet you don't have access to, WELP. GOOD LUCK.
So I have like google lens up on my phone for any conversations I run into. Then I have discord as a way to c/p and I've got a website that let's you use the Thai letters like a keyboard so I can theoretically find a name, type it out on the website then c/p into the game to message them directly
To make matters more frustrating lol
We SHARE 10 servers with TH but then we have 10 servers that are SEA ONLY
What was the point of a merge if we have 10 servers by ourselves anyway
Guilds are currently LOCKED to their respective sides
So there is a guild "base server" that you can set up, you being guild management/leader
And much like the name suggests, your guildmates spend most of their time on this base server and it means that you have no cooldown when moving to and from the base servers. If you are on a non-base server then there is a 5 min cooldown
So my issue is that base servers are locked to either the TH-only or SEA-only 10 servers
So of those 10 I can choose 2 to be our home base. But we can't choose any of the shared servers as our home base
Which effectively means we can't really recruit Thai players because they can't access our home base server
I hate to be that person, but I'll probably send a ticket to whine about how I don't like the separation they are encouraging.
Everyone is trying to test everyone else
PvP servers were FULL for the first time
Well, first time I ever saw them full
So obviously, there are some adjustments and people need to calm down and get used to each other first. So separation isn't a bad idea. But long term? I don't want it like this long term
