also enjoying their Linkin Park remix
shame it looks like they aren't around anymore, their last listed tour date was 2019 and their youtube hasn't been updated since
at least Dance With the Dead is still kickin, hope they tour around here next year
super into Gunship, PYLOT, and FM-84 too
I'd like to thank Celldweller for the rabbit hole that led me from Argyle Park to Fury Weekend in a surprising number of steps
which also dug up digitized VHS recordings of Argyle Park's only live show at Cornerstone 95 which I missed and I can't remember why, so thanks. (???)
I was there and I loved their CD but I can never remember why I skipped a show besides either I'm asleep or it conflicts with another artist I wanted more
i see you've fallen down the synthwave/darkwave hole
might i also suggest; carpenter brut, perterburator, and magic sword
Magic Sword was what got me into synthwave to start, but yes I love both Carpenter Brut and Perturbator
I love that there's a definite split in styles between glam metal synthwave and true 80s vibe synnthwave
Dance With the Dead, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut on one hand, with a touch of Zardonic, PYLOT and FM-84 on the other
I'm still tickled that my first official outing post-covid was Magic Sword and Dance With the Dead live; tbh the latter was better
they both ripped my face off but I was not expecting genX headbanging bassists
the heavier, more metal and horror influenced stuff tends to get sorted into "dark wave"
