I'd like to thank Celldweller for the rabbit hole that led me from Argyle Park to Fury Weekend in a surprising number of steps

which also dug up digitized VHS recordings of Argyle Park's only live show at Cornerstone 95 which I missed and I can't remember why, so thanks. (???)

I was there and I loved their CD but I can never remember why I skipped a show besides either I'm asleep or it conflicts with another artist I wanted more
i see you've fallen down the synthwave/darkwave hole
might i also suggest; carpenter brut, perterburator, and magic sword

Magic Sword was what got me into synthwave to start, but yes I love both Carpenter Brut and Perturbator

Dance With the Dead, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut on one hand, with a touch of Zardonic, PYLOT and FM-84 on the other

I'm still tickled that my first official outing post-covid was Magic Sword and Dance With the Dead live; tbh the latter was better

they both ripped my face off but I was not expecting genX headbanging bassists
the heavier, more metal and horror influenced stuff tends to get sorted into "dark wave"
