I sent in a ticket to Game Content not "Report Player"

I think I mentioned before but each of the CMs/GMs have names affiliated with game lore or game mobs and depending on who replies I can usually figure out which category the ticket actually got pushed to

I don't really want repercussions on these guys yet.

But the way reports work, you have to call out individual players, which is problematic

If we get one of them, guaranteed the rest will hunt you. So it becomes whack-a-mole

So for now, I just kinda want to explain the full scope and honestly, just ask for advice on a way to handle this

I mentioned we aren't doing NW or Node War. Which is BDO's big pvp battles that they strive off of. The content has been dying DUE TO toxicity like this

So my saying "We aren't doing it this week" is like me saying "we're quitting" lol

That's their selling point, hard to explain

But they really have been trying to make the game more casual friendly and more beginner friendly and this is clear between changes to ToS (you used to not be able to report harassment at all.) and the in game dec systems adjusting to need mutual acceptance

Idk, I just hope they can answer my questions and just jot things down for future reference. I sent them 9 screenshots and the video link

i hope it works! and hey, sometimes you have to go for the soft underbelly to get your complaint taken seriously

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured was best atm

If there was a way to just blacklist this guild's dec requests and not block others that would be the best result. But I don't think the game has that system at this time

I think it's just all or nothing. But it's a little unclear how it works. BDO never gives you instructions

The response from the GM:

I have never encountered GM Jade before, so it might have actually been forwarded to the report side of things. This is mostly what I expected of a response

It takes a great deal for them to ban or react to guild disputes

That said, I'll probably have to turn on the "always decline"

that sucks but hopefully they will get tired of trying to provoke you guys eventually

Lol my boys are taking things into their own hands

So most have alt accounts or this is their alt account

I went to bed and woke up to rallying to hunt them on alts so the attacks can't be traced back to us

We lie low and they more or less create a larger pain in the butt for them to get upset over until they forget us or run out of dec slots (max is 6)

Not ideal. But they are rightfully upset given the situation

Not gonna lie, this is kinda where I wanted the guild to be. Because of BDO's heavy pvp emphasis, the goal was to be friendly enough to avoid enemies, but strong enough that people would think twice before coming for us.

For the most part, it works. And for situations like this, we still have a methods around it.
