My tactic was lol Kill Wyll and Karlach while all of that was going down

which I'm doing for my Astarion Origins playthrough because not giving a fuck feels like it's on brand for him

I killed Karlach and Wyll for my dark urge playthrough

But I also was romancing Wyll so it was like

If you kill them, do all the druid vs gobo stuff, recruit Minthara. Then just res them with Withers after the "party" you can keep them all

And they actually get along REALLY WELL?????????????

They dig at each other, but it's not really any different than people digging at Astarion lmao

What they don't know can't hurt them

I've done this tactic for anything that risks party member losses

And so far... so good

They come back none the wiser that I've double crossed them all lmaoooo

Also, I should note

You can use this tactic on Wyll when you MEET Karlach if you don't want him to get punished by Mizora

Basically, banish him to a corner of the map, kill him. Fight Karlach to the death (without triggering her conversation). Astarion fully buffed up can one shot her. Takes good rolls though

Then go back to camp, res Wyll, trigger Mizora showering him with gifts

Come back, res Karlach with a scroll, start her conversation (you can do this with Wyll present) and have her join you

Wyll keeps "good standing" and Karlach joins you like it ain't no thing
