we had frost last week so I've given up on the yard, just waiting now for the maple to turn color so I can gauge whether I can get to the gutters before surgery

because the gutters need to be de-leafed but....before the 15th please? otherwise I can't do shit.

luckily I have... a lot of dead pepper and amaranth plants for mulch

the lindens are already turning and the honey locust is naked but the city will get those, I need the willows and maple for mulch

of course, it's been raining for 3 days straight, compared to zero rain in May and June, thanks climate love it

also, not even remotely related to gardening, I am glued to Japan right now because Shibuya is trying to cancel Halloween
