APPARENTLY THAT ^ is what 18 out of 400 ASIA server players thought

KR and TW are screaming cheaters at us

The gear given was supposed to be the only gear used

But 18 people took 1 part of that gear, something called an Alchemy Stone, and tried to enhance it

The issue with this is that stone is notorious for being near-impossible to enhance. No one has the higher grade than the one the devs gave them

BUT 18 PEOPLE FUCKING SUCCEEDED IN ENHANCING IT

Anyway. So rather than disqualify all of ASIA guilds, they are disqualifying those 18 people and banning them for a meager 6 months from participating in any follow up tournaments

MEANWHILE. Internal dramas have returned to our dearest ASIA

So EGGcellent and SUPEREGO were together in the tourney

SUPEREGO is COMPLAINING so hard that they had to hard carry EGG in a 2v1 to save their chances at the tourney because EGG couldn't manage on their own

Now, most of those 18 are from SUPEREGO

Who are now disqualified

So it puts their "we hard carried you" complaints on its head if they were hard carrying with cheaters

So EGG and EGO are at each others' throats

Which has meant world chat is filled to the flames with Thai going on and on SUPEREGO and on and on

Which is hilarious that they swapped writing scripts to me to ensure SUPEREGO was written as it should be

I got caught in the middle of a massive fight they were having yesterday

Minding my business, going between towns and WHAM my horse is dead, I've been thrown into a river that's parallel the road

I swim out and I get an "i sorry" from a zerker and someone else types "get out or be dead"

YOU GUYS SO CONSIDERATE tbh

Anyway, with the horse dead I had to walk my ass back to the nearest town, pay the horse recovery fees and take a convoluted route to where I need to go to avoid this big fight

a clearer way to say it would be 'if we give you something on this server, do not enhance it'

....but i mostly think it was willing misreading

Most countries in ASIA don't have English as a first language

And Pearl Abyss is notorious for shit translations

But TW/HK/MC is upset. And KR kinda bandwagon'd them

Because KR didn't take the win and everyone thought KR would

So they are white knighting lol

Their post is so scathing against ASIA

I had to translate it with google but it amounts to "We saw 1 streamer using this, who is to say what difference it makes? But if 30-40, 400 are using this???"

They clearly just wanted the players of ASIA banned

So Pearl Abyss had to go through all the data logs and identify 3rd party programs, items used, anything rules breaking

Everything clean except those 18 using an impossibly hard to enhance alchemy stone they lol can't even keep after the tourney

Honestly, if you manage to enhance that thing, you deserve to keep it in my opinion

That's just insane

Like the chance is .03%

And if it fails the stone downgrades LOL

It's SO risky

They had more to lose than gain with that ballsy enhancement
