You work in a job for 10 years just fine with good results and everything. The you are told you cannot have anymore yearly contracts and all of a sudden you are jobless as the past 12 years do not even count... wonderful 
I'm sorry that was done to you, that's not proper or fair for your time. I hope you are able, in the long run, to turn this into an opportunity for more and better in your life. You deserve better.

What hits me the most that the work - which was satisfying and apperently well done - of 12 years does not even count or does make them think about finding a solution
