don't know, though many revered 'entities' (some gods, some not) have been represented with many arms or many heads to convey infinte

a bodhisattva of some type - I used to study Indian and Chinese art & this looks familiar - but it has been a while - it would be Buddhist

the many-armed ones are usually Hindu - the dancing Shiva, etc.

bodhisattva means blessed, so it's a saint of some type, to use our Western lingo

Thanks all for the help! I was thinking a possible Buddha because hard to tell if it is female or not?
