f00li5h, I found an eBook on the internets once with eye-exercises that were for vision strengthening.

it does sound like BS to begin with, but Its already helped 1 person not need glasses

their optometrist was very pissed how their measurements changed between 2 visits.

if you had the problem from a child or is an astigmatism , then yeah, that lessens your chances.

but if it developed in adulthood you might get lucky
