Right now I log about 20-23 miles a week just to keep in shape for any runs I pick up. Half training will start in June.

yeah I'll need a little time to build my stamina but 20 miles a week sounds like a good goal to be regular at

Ryan, you have plenty of time to get ready for it. The key is to start the mileage, work it up slowly so you dont get hurt and be consistant
DAGs

But do your runs outside and not on a treadmill. You will want to build up that strength in your bones. A treadmil just does not get it done

I agree Danny, problem is Anaheim/Garden Grove isn't a "jogging" town.. so I'll need to find a place

isnt there a Roadrunner sports running store in the area? See where they run. I do have the advantage of being in the country
